Apartments Mornar

The air conditioning was in the tiny kitchen and was meant to cool the other rooms too, which didn’t seem well thought through. The apartment was cramped for three people. In that little kitchen there was a bed with a 5-centimeter mattress laid over a furniture board, and the fridge was about the size of my suitcase. The plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, and other kitchen things were old, damaged, and in poor shape. The bedroom had a bed with an old mattress covered in blankets, a huge wardrobe, and bedside tables like the ones my grandmother had. Some of the wardrobe doors had been partly nailed shut. Everything felt old and neglected. It was a disaster, and I don’t recommend it. The young owner’s apartment looked as if her grandmother had moved out just before we arrived. I haven’t stayed somewhere like this in twenty years. Time seemed to have stopped at Mornar, or maybe someone was trying to make quick, cheap money at tourists’ expense.

We were very pleased with our stay. The apartment was clean and nice, and the terrace was spacious with a beautiful sea view. The host was a very kind woman. Thank you, Zuzana and family.

The place was clean and quiet, and the owner was available. There’s private parking too.

A great place to unwind, with a lovely yard, terrace, and barbecue. The apartments were super.
