We felt very welcome, greeted with local rakija and even a small present from the hosts on our last day. The house was clean, and the area around the pool was a great place to relax. It's peaceful and secluded, yet just a few minutes from everything. We found it a good base for exploring all of Zadar County, including Zadar, Kornati, Paklenica, Krka, the islands, and Šibenik. I highly recommend a stay at Villa Luca.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend the house. It's very large, well maintained, and fully equipped. Air conditioning on each floor kept all the rooms cool, even when it was 38 degrees Celsius. The pool was big and clean, with sun loungers and umbrellas all around. There are several furnished terraces, and the internet worked flawlessly. There's also plenty of parking, a fenced area, and a remote-controlled gate.
Everything we needed was in the villa, and the instructions were clearly provided in English. We also found it easy to communicate in English with the owner, at restaurants, and with local people. When we arrived, the villa was spotless and ready, and we were warmly welcomed with a shot of schnapps and some delicious figs. We had a great holiday. Both the villa and the region around Zadar are well suited to tourists.
