Apartment Sara

The owner was lovely, always ready to help, and even baked us a delicious cake. The apartment worked fine as a place to sleep while we drove around, and it had air conditioning, which mattered. We were two adults and four children, including a two-year-old, in a first-floor unit advertised for six. It felt cramped: one room had a double bed, another a single bed, and the living room a sofa bed. The kitchenette had an oven and coffee machine, and there was a washing machine in the bathroom. The bathroom windows couldn't shut because the water heater blocked them, and we had to avoid switching off the bathroom power or the water wouldn't heat. The furniture was worn, and the balcony chairs were uncomfortable. There was a garden barbecue, but nowhere to sit. It may be worth choosing carefully among the three apartments in the house; the one with the swing seems like it might be better. This wasn't luxurious, but for somewhere to sleep, we had little to complain about.
