Adeo Apart-Hotel

The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were friendly, but we expected more from a fairly expensive four-star hotel. People had talked up the food, so we were hoping for something better. It was okay, but nothing special and tasted cheap. The coffee was good. The pool area was packed. We should have booked a hotel by the beach. Poreč felt overcrowded, and we didn’t like the crowd or atmosphere. The hotel was all right, just below our expectations, and we didn’t enjoy the area.

The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely pool, and everything is spotless. The housekeeping team work so hard and are lovely. The rest of the staff are amazing and friendly too. Our waitress Nadia was a ray of sunshine and really brightened our day. When we left, the owner thanked us and shook our hands. Parking is excellent and free. It’s just outside Porec, but we were glad to stay here instead of in the center. A must if you’re in the area.

Adeo turned out to be a hidden gem and was better than we expected. The room was tidy, comfortable and cleverly laid out, with space used so well that even travelers with several bags should manage easily. The bathroom was good, the bed comfortable, the view nice, and parking was great. Milica and Valentina went above and beyond, staying kind and professional, and the rest of the team we met were great too. The one challenge was the restaurant: the food was so terrific that I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone trying to watch their weight. Congratulations, and keep up the good work.

The hotel is very nice, and the staff are even better. The minibar prices, though, are on the level of a five-star hotel in Geneva. Our room, number 7, was packed tight, so it was hard to move around the bed. There is a washing machine in the bathroom if you need one.
