The pool was a real highlight, a great size for swimming at 10 by 4 meters and about 1.5 meters deep. We also loved the barbecue space with its nearby sink, the covered parking, and the spotless rooms and grounds. The tortoises wandering around freely were a lovely surprise and gave us lots of enjoyment. The rooms are a bit sparsely equipped, and a toaster and egg cups would have been useful in the kitchen. The internet was poor in the upstairs apartment, but a €10 SIM card with unlimited data fixed that. One concern was that the gas stove had no flame failure safety device, so gas could escape if the knob got moved accidentally. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend the place.
