We stayed just one night of the two we had booked, then checked out and got our money back with help from Booking.com support. We'd rented a three-room apartment for six people and had been told there was air conditioning: one wall unit in the living room and a portable one. With the days so hot, we turned them on right away, but after a whole evening the temperature was still 32°C. When we told the owner the AC wasn't working, a caretaker came and insisted everything was fine. We were rudely told to leave if we didn't like it.

We were left waiting more than 30 minutes, with no help or check-in instructions, at a property in the middle of nowhere. A kind local who didn't speak English had to call the owner for us, and the owner treated us with shocking disrespect on the phone. We travel often and have never had such a bad experience. The management showed no hospitality, and the owner was rude and unprofessional. Absolutely unacceptable.

The pool was clean, tidy, and ready to use, with sunbeds, and it was the one good point. The location was poor and the water was bland. Staff did repairs and other work during the afternoon break. The owner was rude and seemed incompetent for the job, with too much arrogance and ego for this business. When I asked about a hair dryer, he said he didn't have one and told me to buy one at Kaufland. There was no bath shampoo, mosquitoes filled the rooms, and the heat made sleeping unbearable. The only air conditioner was a small one in the living room. We also had no Wi-Fi, despite trying all the codes taped to the cabinets. I had to stay in these apartments due to circumstances, but I wouldn't take a free holiday here.

It felt like heaven on earth, right in front of the Adria. The apartments were lovely, with a nice sea view, and there was a private pool for relaxing.
