It’s a tight fit for four people. There are two small rooms: one has a double bed, a wardrobe and two bedside tables with lighting, and the other has similar features. The bathroom is tiled, with a hot water heater, mirror and shower. The shower tray is enameled and unfortunately worn. In the kitchen area, the refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and sink are connected; there’s also a table with three chairs and a single bed. The room has air conditioning and access to the outside.

The peaceful, quiet neighborhood and kind, helpful, unobtrusive hosts made this a great place to stay. They kept booking simple and were happy to offer advice on where to go and what to do in the city. Parentino/Borik beaches are an easy walk of about 10 minutes, the city center about 20, and there’s a large Konzum nearby. The garden is lovely, with a big fig tree, a terrace overlooking the greenery and parking for one car under a kiwi trellis. This beautiful 2+2 ground-floor apartment had everything we needed, including a kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioning. All in all, we highly recommend the location and accommodation.

We were only waiting on the terrace for friends before driving out to eat, but the landlord told us to leave. That felt like a pretty strange welcome. I wouldn’t spend my vacation there.

The hosts were warm and happy to help with anything. The apartment is close to the beach and old town, with good shops and restaurants nearby.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the price was reasonable. The landlady is lovely and attentive too. If anything comes up, you can tell her and she’ll sort it out.
