The apartment itself was spacious and pleasant, with a sea-facing balcony, a big terrace out back, and air conditioning that worked well. But we were five people, three adults and two children aged eight and younger, staying for 14 days, and the practical side was frustrating. We’d requested a baby cot, but there wasn’t one. We arrived at 8 pm after a 10-hour drive and had to find a travel cot at Plodine just before it closed. The owner’s first question when greeting us was, “How many of you are there?” We’d already provided that information. Wi-Fi was unavailable for 6 of our 14 days. The bed sheets weren’t changed during the stay, and towels were changed only once a week. The owner also came across as annoyed rather than friendly, despite what other reviews say. It felt like once payment was made, nothing else mattered. We’re regular guests at the Valamar, and we’ve decided not to book this apartment again next year.
