The location and service, along with the amenities, make this a fair value for money. Rooms and bathrooms are on the small side, but very clean and regularly serviced. Along the coast there are beautiful, well-kept walking paths, great for a morning stroll or evening walk. The outdoor pool is neat and well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers. The nearby Istrian beach is rocky and full of character, with sunbeds for rent, showers and access points throughout. Hotel Plavi is in a really scenic part of Poreč. Its restaurant has a stunning sea view, especially at breakfast or dinner, and the food is excellent, delicious, varied and served in generous portions. A comfortable seaside stay without overpaying. Highly recommended!

The half-board was a real plus, and drinks were included with it. We only stayed one night while heading home. The hotel is in a lovely spot, and although the rooms feel quite old-fashioned, they were fine. The weather let us down, but that was out of anyone's hands.

There are lovely beaches on both sides of the hotel, though bring your own sunbeds if you don't want to pay €8 a day. We also found an outdoor gym about a 10-minute walk away. For the price, this was a great family holiday, and the staff were warm and friendly. Misela & Milica took especially good care of me with my dietary needs, and they deserve a big raise!

The staff were helpful and professional, and the food was great. Our room was fine, though the bathroom was cramped, especially the shower. We paid extra for a balcony, advertised as having a garden or sea view, but ours looked over a roof and solar panels 🤔. Staff were happy to move us, but we'd have had to pay more.
