Isabella Castle *****

The island really feels like paradise, and the Maro Club team made the holiday special for our family. The staff put so much care into making sure the little ones had a good time, and they were amazing. We loved the experiences each day, especially Maro dance and disco. We’re so grateful.

There were plenty of good things: the pools, roomy and well-equipped rooms, friendly staff, and a nice kids’ club. Still, the food let us down. We also found lots of extra charges across the resort for things included at similarly priced hotels, even in more expensive places.

We came back for a second stay with our family and children, aged 7 and 9, and had a great time again. The location, food, and castle room were very good, and the price felt like good value. Everyone working there was helpful and friendly. When our son became ill and we had to leave two days early, we weren’t charged for the final two nights. We’ll definitely return next year. A couple of small improvements would make it even better. The reserved areas in the V-level are often mostly empty, which I don’t like. Drink service to the loungers by the pool and beach would be Champions League.
