This hotel is clearly geared toward families. Kids have great pools, shallow places to swim safely, and activities to keep them busy through the day. The suites are spacious and modern, everything was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food had plenty of good choices for both picky eaters and people who like to try new things. It’s peaceful, near the beach and walking paths, and makes for a comfortable family holiday. For adults without children, or groups wanting a quieter or more refined break, it may be less of a fit. There are kids, noise, and activity around all the time, so it doesn’t offer an adults-only feel or a calm retreat. Still, if the lively family atmosphere suits you, the comfort and quality are good.

We spent last weekend at Mares Suits and had an amazing time. It was spotless and beautifully designed, with lots of space to unwind. The place feels luxurious yet comfortable and very family friendly, and the welcoming staff made it even better. Such a good spot for families. We’d happily return!

Lana was so lovely with our two boys and attentive every time we saw her at the beach restaurant. She was the best waitress. We’d come back anytime.

The staff are the reason we keep choosing Marea Suites Poreč for our holidays. Andrej at the lobby bar has become a friend over the years, Selma in the restaurant is our holiday sunshine, and the reception team is kind and helpful too. We always find the place clean, peaceful, and relaxing, with excellent service. Thumbs up!
