Really great!

The pool was included in the price, which was very good compared with other options since I booked through Booking.com. The room itself was fine, though dated. My only real issue was the bathroom: the sink felt a little too small.

The pool rules made it hard to relax: no jumping, diving, ball or frisbee games, air mattresses, or dogs nearby because of concerns about dirtying the tiles. Dogs cost 10 euros a night. There’s no toilet by the pool, so you have to return to your room. Three iron plates near the pool could cause a nasty burn. The sunbeds are hard without cushions, and the four small parasols barely give any shade. You can’t move the beds onto the grass under the tree for more shade, again because the tiles might get dirty. The rooms need a lot of upkeep and are old, though the air conditioning works very well. Cold water comes out as a weak trickle, making a proper shower almost impossible. The beds creak a lot and are very hard. Room sizes vary quite a bit: ours was small and had no balcony, while two other rooms had balconies and cost nearly the same. The little fridge was handy, but its freezer compartment was broken, and the closet wobbled badly. The city center is a bit over half an hour away on foot. A taxi is cheap, 1200 kuna for 6 people, about 16 euros. Breakfast costs 10 euros per person and tastes quite good. At check-in, they take everyone’s IDs and return them only once the outstanding balance is paid. The upstairs door is locked at night, which doesn’t seem fire-safe, and there are no smoke detectors.

The holiday was a disaster and far too expensive for what we got. The descriptions were completely unrealistic, service was terrible, and nobody gave us a proper tour. We couldn't find a decent place to eat within 2 km, and without a car you can't get anywhere unless you're willing to walk at least 3 to 4 km. The common room stayed locked the whole time, and we weren't even allowed to keep our IDs. The lady took our ball away because playing by the pool wasn't allowed. There were insects everywhere, including wasps and plenty of other creatures. Watch out for the room you get: ours had a tiny bathroom where a tall person couldn't shower or use the toilet properly.
