Oliviera made us feel at home right away and was always kind and attentive to what we needed. Dennys was wonderful with suggestions for places to visit and eat, and his welcome felt more like that of a friend nearby than just a host. We’re Giusy and Marco, and we’ll definitely return to Villa Castello Rausch. The villa is a Croatian gem, almost magical, set among greenery and quiet. The location and setting are captivating, and breakfast in the park beneath the old trees, with the scent of nature around us, will stay in our hearts. It was a stay full of beauty, comfort, and warmth.

The location is breathtaking, and the service was impeccable. Our room was very clean too. I recommend it wholeheartedly. It really does make you feel like royalty.

Breakfast outside under the trees was a highlight, and the villa never felt crowded. There’s a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a roof terrace where you can sunbathe and read. Even a walk through the interior is an experience, with so many thoughtful little details and decorations chosen with taste and feeling. The room was spacious, romantic, and very clean, with a real sense of luxury. The family who own and run the place are both professional and warm, and they’re a huge part of what makes the experience special. The villa sits in a peaceful green oasis near the city, with a unique atmosphere. We hardly have enough words to describe our stay.

After the crowds in town, this place was a lovely retreat. We had a huge one-bedroom room, the people here are lovely, and breakfast was superb.
