Apartment Luna

We came to Postira after a long journey from Poland, 24 hours on the road with four adults and two small children. Jelena and her family welcomed us warmly and got us settled quickly. Her daughter Leonarda is a legend, and sings beautifully. The apartment was new, clean, and comfortable, with three spacious rooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. We had what we needed, including a washing machine, coffee machine, TV, internet, beach gear, air conditioning, two balconies, plenty of hot water, and even fresh goat milk. Jelena left little local gifts on the stairs in the evenings. Her service was thoughtful but unobtrusive, and we felt like family rather than guests. We booked Apartment Luna online in January for a two-week September stay in 2018. Jelena answered our emails right away, even when we asked silly questions. Postira is peaceful, with lots of streets and walks to explore, little caves, and beaches where you can swim in clear water. There’s a well-stocked shop nearby, where we bought fresh bread for breakfast, and the nearest bay is right by the apartment. Restaurants are just a few minutes away. It was a great place to stay with small children, quiet but close to the main attractions. The sun shone throughout our stay, and we had all the facilities we needed. It was our best holiday, and Jelena was probably the best host in Postira, perhaps even in Croatia. We hope to return!
