September 2025 was a complete disaster, even though we’d had a fairly nice stay in 2023 and chose to return. On the first day the bathroom drain stopped working, and there was no hot water. The owner tried to fix it himself, but did an unprofessional job and left a mess. His “solution” was to let us shower in another room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, and its drain was poor too. Hot water was only a little lukewarm, if that. There was no room service or cleaning supplies, and nowhere to dispose of waste, with a landfill beside the house. CK Adria Databank was completely useless. We spent all day calling and explaining, but nobody solved anything. The last two days, apartment reconstruction noise woke us from half past eight in the morning. Then, shortly after midnight on September 12th, a fire broke out, probably because of the work. The owner gave guests no warning and there was no evacuation, so we had to get out of the smoke ourselves. Firefighters finally handled it and stayed until three in the morning. The holiday became stress and a nightmare. One star is too much. CK Adria Databanka and the owner Jerko Šantić failed at the basics. Avoid this place unless you really want your holiday ruined.

We were quite satisfied in 2023, so we came back in September 2025, but this became the worst vacation of our lives. On arrival, the bathroom drain stopped working and there was no hot water. The owner’s “repair” left a mess without fixing anything. We were offered a shower in another room, but it hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests and the drain there was poor too. The water was barely lukewarm. There was no room service, no broom or rag, no cleaning products at all, and a landfill beside the building meant there was nowhere to throw the waste. CK Adria Databank was completely incompetent and did nothing to resolve the problems during our stay. Construction noise woke us at 8:30 on the last two days. Then early in the morning on 12.9., a boiler caught fire in the building’s basement. The owner didn’t warn or evacuate the guests. People had to run from the thick smoke themselves, and the situation was only handled by firefighters, who stayed until three in the morning. It was one stress after another, endless phone calls, and finally a nightmare. One star is too much. CK Adria Databanka and the owner Jerko Šantić failed completely. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Stay as far away as you can!

Santic, never again. Over 10 days the owner couldn’t fix the clogged drain, even after cleaning it three times and leaving a mess each time. We also had no running hot water. We brought in the travel agency halfway through the stay, but nothing changed. If you don’t need anything from the owner, everything’s fine. But when you need a problem sorted out, trouble starts: he stops communicating and acts irrationally.
