Grand hotel View

The buffet turned out much better than we expected after reading some negative reviews. Breakfast was outstanding, and at dinner the salad bar, pizza, chips and bread stayed much the same, but the protein dishes changed every night. There were at least six, maybe eight choices each evening. One night a staff member carved a beautifully cooked piece of beef, and staff were always making pasta fresh and serving delicious cooked vegetables. Our family of six each found different favorites. The hotel was spotless, with staff constantly cleaning from top to bottom. Everyone in hospitality and housekeeping did a great job, and the team were both professional and friendly. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and sauna. The view was spectacular, and the beach right outside looked like a postcard. Another beach and the town are only a short walk away. We stayed five nights at the start of October, and it felt like a holiday of a lifetime. Getting between Suptar port and Postira was easy by bus, and we could buy tickets onboard. Dinner was delicious, and our room felt luxurious and comfortable for a four-star hotel. We had a side sea view, which was still amazing, and the beach is very close. I also appreciated the many elevators. We never found them crowded. There were some rough spots: dinner gets very busy, and at times we waited more than 15 minutes in line for food. The restaurant staff seemed a bit untrained, and the air conditioning was set too low for my taste. After breakfast, coming back to the room felt freezing. Still, we had a relaxing vacation and an amazing experience. The hotel is clearly of a very high standard, and I can't give it less than five stars. I don't have much else bad to say 🙂.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially with Bone looking after us. He was consistently friendly, attentive and ready to help. The food was good throughout our stay, though service beyond breakfast was less smooth. Check-in could have felt more welcoming, and we often waited a long time for drinks or for someone to take our lunch order. The infinity pool was a favorite, with lovely views to enjoy while swimming. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, right on the seafront, and our room was spacious. It's also just a short walk from the harbour. My partner and I spent eight days here and had a fantastic time overall. The setting and facilities made up for the occasional service hiccup. Solid hotel, great food and stunning views.

The hotel looks very nice, but these are the things families should know before booking. The pool water was incredibly cold, and the tiles were slippery, with people repeatedly falling. There was no lifeguard at the pool. Breakfast was the same every day, though it was okay and something you can live with. The children's pancakes came from a machine, and the line took 30-40 minutes. By the time the kids got their favorite breakfast, I couldn't get mine. We were given water in the room only on the first day. That's not what we'd expect from a hotel like this.
