The spring and canyon of the Bijela River were magical, and the monastery by the mouth of the Kaješnica River felt especially peaceful and moving. We also loved the clean, well-kept beach just a few steps away, perfect for coffee in the morning or a swim later in the day. Villa Milka has everything for a proper getaway, from the barbecue and terrace to the jacuzzi under the stars. A lovely mix of nature, adventure, and downtime. We had a wonderful weekend.

The hot tub was amazing, and the view from the upstairs apartment was beautiful. We spent our week there and had everything we needed, even though the downstairs apartment doesn't have a kitchen. The sea is right across the street. We took our dog to the beaches with us; he stayed in the shade and didn't go in the water. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach opposite, but it was so quiet that nobody seemed to mind. We'd happily return and recommend the house.
A dog beach is about 200 meters away, past a lovely pine forest, and there's a barbecue bar with great food just a minute's walk from the house. The home itself is well equipped, with a fenced, well-kept garden that's handy for kids and dogs. It sits 20 meters from a lovely pebble beach, and the terrace looks out over the sea and opposite shore. It works well for eight people, including children and dogs. Pridraga is about 1.5 km uphill for groceries, a restaurant, and a petrol station. Zadar is a beautiful 30-minute drive away. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
The sea view and beachfront location are lovely, and the beach itself is very nice. Since we visited outside peak season, it was quiet and the nearby holiday homes were empty. The lower apartment looks quite new, while the upstairs one feels very run-down. We weren't met in person when we arrived, and handling contact only by phone felt impersonal, which bothered us a little. There are no shops within walking distance, so a car is necessary. The garden is tiny, though the property is fenced if you bring a dog. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach. It's a nice holiday home, but in my opinion it's much too small for eight people.
The terrace upstairs has a wonderful sea view, and the parking spot sits under a pergola covered in Virginia creeper, a lovely touch 😉 The first floor has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen-diner. Downstairs there's a bedroom, living room, and a slightly larger bathroom. The hot tub is a nice extra, though with the sea so close we didn't really need it. A highly recommended spot.
