We loved how clean the water was, with little fish in the shallows and no sea urchins. The rocky beach is just 60 meters along a well-paved path, and you get into the sea using pool ladders. At the house, the north-facing terrace and the separate extra kitchen with a barbecue were nice to have. There are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single, plus a bathroom, a toilet, and a utility room with a washing machine. The living room and kitchen share one space, with air conditioning. The central air conditioning worked well enough for us as long as we left the room doors open. We aired out the rooms and closets regularly, so the humid sea air didn’t bother us. The extractor above the cooktop helped too. Around midday, with the terrace door open, it pulled fresh air in. We kept the rubbish bin out on the terrace during the hot weather so ants wouldn’t come looking for food indoors. There’s a 3.7kW electric vehicle charger in the garage, and charging our car was included at no extra cost. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. We had arranged a visit in advance, and they brought apple pie and a local spirit. At night, we sometimes heard individual vehicles passing along the small road in front of the house.
