Apartments Rube

We booked at the last minute and stayed a few nights as a group. The place is decent, with a nice view and close to the beach, but at the end of September it felt expensive. If you have time to compare, I’d look for a cheaper option. The fridge in our apartment wasn’t working when we arrived. We were told it would be fixed the next morning, but it wasn’t, so we had to use the fridge in the apartment downstairs. That felt awkward, especially since I don’t know what would happen if someone else were renting that apartment too. The woman was friendly when she wanted to be, but her attitude changed as soon as money or the fridge came up. She knocked loudly on our door and made us come all the way down because, apparently, we’d left the fridge door open once and were being naughty. We checked our food and it was completely fine, so nothing had happened. Making such a fuss over it seemed strange.
