Chef Faruk made each meal a treat. He was fantastic and wonderfully quirky, and his energy came through in the delicious food every day. The hotel itself was okay, but the seaside setting and the view made our stay feel amazing. Great atmosphere, tasty meals, and a spot right by the sea. We had a great time.

We came in for a meal and ended up waiting nearly an hour just to pay. Before that, we waited 30 minutes to order, despite there being only us and three other people. The waiters were smoking and chatting, while the chef sat at a table talking with a guest. When we asked about ordering food again, they refused us and told us to wait some more. They then called us rude and uncooperative and said we were acting stupidly. That attitude is unacceptable. I don't recommend this hotel and restaurant.

The hotel itself could be a great place to stay, with large, clean rooms and high ceilings in a fantastic part of the island. The problem is the restaurant and the company running it, which also handles the breakfast included in the deal. Everything at breakfast seemed dirty and cheap, and it was hard to find a worse one. The outsourced food and service drag the place down so much that the hotel could charge twice as much for its rooms if those were better.

The rooms are clean, the staff are kind and professional, and the beach and grounds are kept clean by the lovely team. But breakfast brings the rating down. There are options, yet the food isn't kept warm: one day the eggs were hot and the coffee cold, another day it was the other way around. The chicken sausages seemed undercooked, though edible, and cold. The ham tasted close to being expired. At the prices they charge, breakfast service should match the rest of the place.
