Hotel Maestral

I had such a great time here and can’t recommend this little hotel enough. It’s on a laid-back island with no cars, a lovely old-time feel, home-grown good food and the odd surprise. It’s a real gem.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, though the beds are very firm. If noise bothers you, ask for a room away from the bell tower. The bells ring throughout the day and night and can be quite loud on that side, while the opposite side is very quiet. The service is incredible, and the owners and staff go out of their way in this charming, peaceful setting. We enjoyed nearly everything on the menu, which suited our American palates, and in my opinion it was the best food on the island. Breakfast was complimentary and lovely, and there’s an excellent wine selection. Coffee is pretty standard for Croatia; a French press or drip option with premium coffee would be a nice addition. Highly recommend!

Damir gave us fantastic service, and the food was great. It’s always a pleasure to visit Filip's hotel when in Prvić.

Everyone working at the hotel was gentle and smiling, even in peak season. We couldn’t have asked for more. It’s a small, romantic, peaceful place, with thoughtful details and attentive service. The restaurant sits on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, well protected from the sun. The menu offers varied, carefully prepared dishes, a refreshing change from traditional konobas, and even the simple plates are very good and nicely served.
