Our three-night booking last September cost 260 EUR a night, but we left after just one night because we couldn't sleep. The hotel is beside a church, and its bells ring loudly every hour. When we asked reception if anything could be done, they handed us a box of earplugs 🤨. They weren't prepared to refund any part of the fee. Think twice before booking.

That garden is still what I remember most. It's lush and carefully looked after, and the gardener is a real artist. The pool was spotless, the atmosphere felt quiet and private, and the service was personal. The restaurant is excellent too, right at this beautifully restored 15th-century palace on the seafront. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully furnished, and the whole property feels thoughtfully decorated, down to the smallest details. For me, it was a more memorable and special stay than other five-star hotels on the Croatian coast. I'd happily return and recommend it to anyone after a proper retreat in a historic palace.

The team really made our stay special. Everyone was so accommodating and went out of their way to help us have a great time. We loved the beautiful, well-kept hotel and grounds, and both breakfast and the dinners we had were delicious. Thanks for such a lovely visit. We can't wait to come back to Puteus Palace!

The dinner was OMG, pig-ariiffic! That “oink oink” was ridiculously good. Beautiful, castle-riffic atmosphere, too, and the staff were so polite. Just an amazingly fun experience.

We even dropped our next stop so we could spend longer at Puteus. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious, breakfast was delicious, and the friendly staff added a personal touch and went the extra mile. A very good hotel that lives up to its five-star experience. Thanks for a lovely stay.
