A real plus is the quiet setting above town, with little traffic or tourist bustle. The evenings bring music from the center and cicadas in the trees, and there's a lovely sunset walk to the lighthouse. From the little pier at the end, you can take in the Croatian coast all the way from Split to Makarska. Pucisca is a peaceful spot for a relaxing stay. The apartment was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. It has air conditioning, a stove, microwave, kettle, iron and ironing board. The host handles the laundry and leaves it in a bowl outside the apartment. Everyone was friendly, and when I arrived the place was even better than I expected. There's private parking in the bay next to the apartment. The host also arranged some brandy from a neighbor and brought it right to our door. It's a handy base for visiting beaches and the bigger towns on Brač. I highly recommend it.

The apartment had a lovely view, and the staff were friendly. It's a bit out of town, though still close to the beach. Be prepared for lots of stairs.
