Apartments Ribarska Koliba

The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was great, and the location is convenient with plenty of parking. But the hotel charged me 40 euros for a sheet that ripped as soon as I sat on it. It had been stretched across two beds pushed together, and the material was so thin you could see through it. I think the charge was a money grab. Beware!

We ate at the on-site restaurant twice because the food was so good and reasonably priced. An Aperol spritz was only 8€. The staff were friendly and helpful when my wife needed medical attention for an infected insect bite, and they directed us to the tourist hospital. We were upgraded to the "Fuoco 1" apartment, which was spotless and spacious, with fantastic marina views from the private balcony. We spent five nights here during our honeymoon trip around Croatia and had an incredible stay. Highly recommended, and we hope to return for a future anniversary.

The pool and its surroundings were excellent, clean, tidy, and well kept. Reception was warm and check-in was easy, but breakfast service felt noticeably worse. The room was small, although the balcony was huge. The room looked generally clean and was nicely decorated, with a tidy bathroom and vacuumed floors, but there was a lot of limescale in the bathroom and the terrace was dirty with what looked like layers of stuck-on dust. The Red Bull-style minibar was tiny and only fit three cans. Breakfast was in a pleasant setting, but it was modest for a 4-star hotel: three kinds of eggs, two vegetables, two breads, a few spreads, basic cold cuts, water from one jug, and two kinds of juice. At this price, I think an apartment complex would be better value, with a similar or better standard. This didn't feel like a true 4-star stay.

We loved how quiet and relaxing it was outside the busy centre of Pula, with a lovely marina view. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and absolutely lovely, and the pool had jets and plenty of sun beds. It took 6 minutes by taxi to get to Pula, which was easy and smooth. We stayed a week and wished we'd booked longer. Big thanks to Maja for her kindness and help. We can't wait to come back 😌
