Antonija Apartment

The apartment is new, well kept, and has everything you need. The owner was friendly, and it made a great base for a holiday in Pula and the surrounding area.

We left the next morning and found somewhere else to stay. The apartment itself was nicely decorated, but in winter we specifically booked a heated place and paid for heating. The owner switched it off every day, so we came back to a chilly 15 degrees. He'd let himself in while we were there and turn the thermostat down without waiting for us to open the door. One night, at 10:15 p.m., he came in to complain that we were yawning quietly in the morning because he could hear everything from upstairs. Later, while I was showering at 11:15 p.m., I heard banging overhead. Within half a minute he and his wife were at the door, ringing until they woke our colleagues, then shouting that we couldn't shower so late because she had work in the morning. Psychopath... 😰

I don't have the energy to describe the ordeal we went through. The owner was horrible, with harassment and disturbances late at night. He went into the apartment when nobody was there, and apparently you couldn't shower whenever you wanted. He also turned off the heating in winter. People shouldn't stay here. I'd recommend avoiding the place altogether, even sleeping in your car instead.

Getting to the beaches, city center, and supermarket takes about 10 minutes by car, which made the location handy. The apartment was clean and had the basics covered, from sheets and towels to dishes. The owner was very kind, and there was a bookable covered parking spot protected from hail. We also had two Wi-Fi lines.
