We left as soon as we arrived. There was a pile of bulky rubbish outside, broken drawers and damaged cupboards, then a horrible bathroom smell. Inside, the bed had all kinds of hairs, the extractor hood was dusty, and there were cobwebs everywhere. The kitchen sofa was completely worn out. There was mold in the bathroom, the toilet flush was broken, and the toilet brush was filthy. After I complained, the landlord just shrugged. In short, renting this out is antisocial, and it felt like they were just milking holidaymakers. Don’t put yourself through it.

There’s lots of room, everything is clean and looked after, and it’s easy to get by in English and some German.

The host was welcoming and ready to help. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, in an excellent location just outside the city.

I was really let down by the cleanliness and the service.
