The apartment was great, and so was the location.

It’s a quiet spot in a great location, and there’s room to park a car near the yard. The soundproofing is about 7 out of 10. I used to rate the place 8.3, but now I’d give it no more than 7 out of 10. The old air conditioner doesn’t cool the room properly, may be low on refrigerant or not sized for the space, and it’s noisy and keeps banging. The fridge creaks at night. HDMI and USB don’t work on the TV, so bringing a flash drive for the kids is pointless. The WiFi keeps cutting out, which makes watching a movie in the evening difficult. Some of the materials and fittings are in such bad shape they could fall on your head, snag your clothes when you sit by the bed, or give you an electric shock under the table. If these issues were fixed, it would be a decent option.

The owner was kind and quiet, but there wasn’t really a chance to get to know each other or share a drink. We got the keys and a little useful information in 5-10 minutes, and that was all. The villa looks lovely from outside, with a nice yard and a secure place to leave the car. Inside, though, the apartment and rooms feel old, with dated furniture and only moderate equipment. They have the basics, and the bedroom bed is very comfortable. From the terrace there’s a nice view, and the window looks out toward the sea in the distance and the marina. The sockets and switches are in poor condition and need attention from the owner.
