Parking can be tricky downtown, but I’ve stayed here twice and would happily come back when I’m in Pula. The accommodation is beautiful, spotless, and well equipped. The owners are kind and helpful. When I had a kidney stone there, the owner drove me to the hospital in his own car, and the hospital was very modern. I can only recommend the place.

I had a terrible experience. I booked two nights through Booking.com, more than two weeks ahead. The UK government then announced that travel to Croatia required quarantine. Although we were told we wouldn’t be able to travel if there were any COVID-19 issues, the owners refused to refund even a single euro. They still rented out our room after we’d paid for it. These days, it’s important to choose accommodation with flexible booking terms. There are plenty of other places with good reviews that offer flexibility.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. It was expensive, and although we were told it was non-smoking, the cigarette smell was so strong that we nearly slept in the car. We kept the place ventilated the whole time.
