Center Stylish Apartment

The apartment has everything you need, and the owners are helpful and quick to reply. The main downside is parking: right in the heart of Pula, there isn't a free spot nearby. Paid parking lots cost over €25 a day and are almost always full. The nearest free space I found was a 10-minute walk uphill. Parking in Pula is really difficult.

The location was convenient, and the manager's mother came by at checkout. There were useful things like an iron, ironing board, drying rack, and air conditioning. But cleanliness was very poor: hair and stains on the sheets and pillowcases, hair in the sink and on the towels, a dirty toilet and floor, and crumbs all over the sofa and carpet. The place was tiny, with barely room to walk around the bed. Street noise and the neighbors were hard to ignore. We heard the next-door TV in the evening and every step from upstairs. The manager was unfriendly, the building was poorly kept, and there was no parking despite my using that as a search filter. No shower soap or anything else was provided, and the phone was tiny. The manager also texted every day about everything, which was stressful. Documents should be requested straight away, not in the evening. Don't message about noise complaints when the neighbors are the ones making noise, or keep asking about checkout time because you're away and sending someone else. That's not how you deal with people, and you should be polite when you speak to them. It cost too much for what it actually was. The photos make it look gorgeous, so don't get fooled like we did.

It's a small apartment, but very comfortable and cute, right at the entrance to the historic center, which is really convenient. The hosts were helpful and thoughtful. We found pretty much everything there, even olive oil and coffee. It's on the second floor with no stairs, in a very old building. The thick walls help keep it quiet, and there are only three apartments.
