Family House SEAMARE I

The owner was condescending and arrogant when we raised issues, and didn't seem willing to accept criticism or find solutions. Apparently the property manager wasn't allowed to sort things out herself. We were even told we could sleep on the beach if something didn't suit us. There were lots of small problems that added up: cameras watching the outdoor area, a pool that was only moderately clean because the skimmer was broken, broken pool and outdoor lights, and a broken dishwasher that left many dirty dishes. Some beds were uncomfortable or broken. The lower floor kitchens had no real furnishings, there weren't enough seats for the group, the refrigerator was too small and partly frozen, and the kitchen lighting was poor. Generally, everything felt a bit run-down. No thanks. Never again.

We were four families, 15 people in all, and I can only recommend this house with major reservations. The landlord's answer to the problems was, "You can sleep on an air mattress on the beach." It felt like profit mattered more than happy vacationers. This was definitely our last holiday in properties of ALPHA EUROPE HOLDING Ltd. The pool had no circulation because the surface skimmer was broken. The water was dirty, heavily chlorinated, and the pool ball in the photo had spent a night in it. There were lots of loose tiles and sharp edges, and the lights didn't work. In the ground-floor apartments, the double beds creaked loudly with every movement because the slatted frames were badly installed. The sofa beds were only about 1 x 1.7 m, with an unpadded wooden strip down the middle. There were no curtains, blackout curtains, or mosquito nets, despite lots of mosquitoes. The dishwasher was barely usable, taking two or three cycles to clean the dishes.

The pool water was clean, but loose tiles and very sharp edges made it a problem. The garden shown in the description was missing, so the place didn't match what we'd expected.

It's a beautiful, peaceful place, and I'd want at least 14 days there.
