Veli Joze Hotel

The location is amazing, and we had a nice stay overall. The rooms were clean, the staff were amazing, friendly, and really helpful, and the small breakfast was tasty. The only thing that bothered me was being put on the top floor in the attic. We had to carry our suitcases up all those stairs. We stayed for two nights.

We arrived late by bus, and the hotel let us check in later than they normally allow. The staff were friendly, and the location was really good. Several nearby bus stops made it easy for us to get around Pula, and we used them a lot. Our room was very big but quite old. It was clean and had a fridge, air conditioning, and a TV. Breakfast was compact, but there were plenty of choices.

The room was simply furnished and not modern, but it was clean, with bright white sheets and towels. The air conditioning worked well, and I was glad to have a small fridge. Breakfast had omelets, sausages, cheese, yogurt, muesli, and fruit. There were no vegetables or dessert, but you won’t go hungry. The hotel is between the city center and Valkane beach, about a 15-minute walk from the beach. Bus line No. 1 goes past and can take you to the Stoja beach area or Pula bus station. The nearest supermarket is a five-minute walk away.

The breakfast was amazing, and I really enjoyed the food. Service was very nice, and we had no problems with the staff. I liked the hostel. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the small bathroom was also clean and worked fine. Smoking isn’t allowed inside, so smokers gather out front. That didn’t bother me personally.
