B&B Villa Maris

My wife and I had a wonderful holiday at B&B Villa Maris in Punat on the island of Krk. The welcoming staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, with air conditioning, a small fridge, and a TV. We also enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, lovely view, and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of fresh, high-quality food. They could make a vitamin shake of your choice, and prepare eggs to order, fried or as an omelette. There’s a well-maintained pool with towels and comfortable loungers. It isn’t heated, but it was wonderfully refreshing in the heat, and staff would serve drinks by the pool. Cyclists have a secure, organized place to store their bikes, and private parking is available too. The location made it easy to explore or relax by the sea. The waterfront, beaches, local bars, restaurants, and shops are about 500 meters away. We warmly recommend the property for a comfortable, pleasant, well-kept stay on Krk. We’ll definitely be back!

I’d highly recommend staying here. The staff are friendly, the interior style is well above average, and our room was clean, with modern furniture that felt close to luxury. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including gluten-free items, fruit, juices, freshly baked rolls, and coffee. They were always available to handle special requests. There are other nice touches too: it’s pet friendly, the beach is a 5-10 minute walk away, and there’s an afternoon coffee and snack time. We had a great experience.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk, though the pool and tidy garden make up for the distance. Inside, the rooms are spacious and clean, with excellent mattresses and blackout roller shutters for anyone who likes a really dark room. Breakfast was good, and anything that ran out was replenished right away. The staff were great, and the accommodation was excellent.

We found this quiet, family-run hotel a great starting point for bike trips in the off-season. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was unforgettable. The beds and pillows were super comfortable.
