Ilija was such a kind and helpful host. We spoke in Croatian and English, using Google Translate, and when we left, his wife sent us off with frozen figs to take home. Thank you! We stayed in the very large ground-floor apartment, which would suit a big family or a group of up to eight. There are three bedrooms, two with private bathrooms, and the kitchen has plenty of equipment, including a large fridge, oven, microwave, and kettle. There isn’t a sofa living room, but the indoor dining area with its big TV was fine, and the spacious terrace had a large table and grill, with lovely shade from the grapevines. For just the two of us, it was too much space, especially since we were only there for two days before moving on. Everything was very clean, though I felt the kitchen could use a little more wiping down. I’m a perfectionist! The owners were very welcoming.
