The cottage has a fantastic garden, an orchard, and more to explore, all in a place that’s over 100 years old. A week here doesn’t feel like enough. It comfortably fits 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with one bunk bed and two double beds. Two more downstairs would be a squeeze, but doable. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the landlord is helpful and easy to reach. You’ll need a car, which is obvious when you choose Rab. I hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay with our two children and would definitely book again. We chose the quiet, green rural surroundings instead of a more central place, and especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces and covered terrace. We used the barbecue often and didn’t miss any amenities. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one smaller and two spacious, plus a bathroom. There’s another bathroom downstairs, and a washing machine outside in the small cottage. The children played on the meadow below. The only thing to mention is the somewhat narrow driveway, though our fairly wide station wagon still made it through.
