Hotel Epario

This family owned and managed hotel has a character I haven’t come across elsewhere in Croatia. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, and post office are nearby. There’s parking for every guest. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our baby had a pleasant time in the children’s playroom before and after meals. The toys were clean and barely used. There’s also one of the biggest, best equipped hotel fitness rooms I’ve seen. Breakfast is a typical continental spread, and dinner comes with two choices. The portions are big enough for adults too. A few things to keep in mind: most rooms face the main road, so traffic can be noisy if you want a quiet stay. There aren’t many choices at breakfast or dinner, though the hospitality and friendly service make up for that. There’s no elevator, but only three floors. That wasn’t a problem for us, and our baby had just started using stairs, so it was a good chance to practice. And, as along the rest of the Croatian coast, there were a few mosquitoes.

A small, friendly hotel run by a family. It’s a comfortable option if you’re looking for half board, with local dishes and a homely feel.

We had an amazing holiday here. The hotel is very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly. The food was delicious too.

Clean, decent rooms and a good spot for an overnight stay. The pillows were much too big, though, and air conditioning costs extra.
