The apartment was a good size, clean, and had useful features like a balcony, washing machine, air conditioning, plenty of storage, and lots of hooks. Parking is beside the building, though you reach it along a narrow street. When we arrived, an older woman who lives there showed us the first-floor apartment. She turned out to be the landlady, spoke some German, and said we could ask her if we needed anything. The location worked well, with the promenade, restaurants, and several swimming coves only a short walk away, though you do have to manage a few steps. Boats also moor in those coves, so it isn't a secluded beach setting, but it has its own charm. Dogs splash around there too, which some people will enjoy and others won't. It comes down to preference. The hard mattress cost it a point for me, as I didn't sleep very well. There wasn't a hairdryer, though I might have been able to get one if I'd asked. Air drying my hair worked too ;) Pudarica beach is easy to reach by car, with the lovely Santos beach bar and plenty of parking. The beach is idyllic, and you can spread out a towel or rent a lounger or beach bed. It can fill up quickly depending on the weather and how many tourists are there.
