The location was fine, and Kastel Bar & Pizza nearby is a good option for a meal. Mrs. Mira made modest breakfasts with care, and we appreciated the small farewell gift, though it came too late to change our impression. We also want to thank Mr. Mirko and Mrs. Mira, the older hosts, for their daily effort and kindness. Our week there left us disappointed, tired, and shocked. There was no proper check-in or reception, and the younger hosts seemed indifferent when we arrived. We felt like a nuisance rather than welcome guests. Their two small children screamed through breakfast, and their parents did little to settle them. The father sometimes added to the commotion. The shared areas were disorderly and unacceptably dirty, with dust behind furniture and spiderwebs. Windows didn't match, and the furnishings were dated. The room was listed as having a sea view, but trees and buildings blocked part of it. The Booking.com photos don't show the property's current condition. It feels stuck in the early 1990s or earlier, without any charm to make that appealing. We were charged €5 a day for an old, rusty refrigerator with visible mold. The listing hadn't said it would cost extra. I even brought a tomato from the supermarket to show that breakfast ought to include more than cheap ham and discounted cheese. We won't return. It's a shame, since the place once had potential. The contrast between the older hosts' class and the younger hosts' lack of professionalism was striking, and the property seems to be going downhill.
