The floors were broken, the cooker didn't work, and the pool was dirty. They said they'd fix the shower, but it never worked while we were there, so people went into the pool without washing first. We got skin irritation from it. The owner also came into our accommodation to “check” whether the AC was on, which isn't allowed in Croatia. We stayed for three days with our dog, and the owner complained about it and wouldn't let it into the garden. There are quiet hours from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 22:00 to 7:00. Also, three-story buildings surround the house, so there's no view and no wind.

The photos on booking.com were six years old and gave the impression we’d get the ground floor, but we were assigned an apartment on the top floor. The whole ground floor, terrace, and garden are private, though you can use the pool. Quiet hours apply from 14:00 to 16:00 and 22:00 to 07:00. The pool was dirty, the shower and cooker didn’t work, and some basic supplies were missing, including washing materials and cutlery for cooking. There was broken furniture too. The owner came into the apartment to “check” whether the airco was off, which isn’t allowed in Croatia. Their dog is always outside and defecates on the gravel. The owners are home almost all the time.

We love this place and keep coming back. The owners are lovely and always happy to help or give advice. The pool and garden are great, dogs are allowed, and guests can use the barbecue. All the apartments have sea views, and the beds and mattresses are new and comfortable. There are good restaurants close by, and plenty of little swimming spots nearby, some within walking distance.

The photos look great, but the apartment and bed were poor. It felt like we were only visiting, and we had to share the pool with the owners.
