Apartments Villa Adria

The weather and beach were the only things that worked out for us. After a 14-hour trip with two children, we arrived to no warm welcome, not even a glass of water, and had to figure everything out ourselves. This was a huge disappointment after looking forward to our holiday, and it didn’t feel like a 3 star apartment at all. The kitchen was missing almost everything, including cutlery, a toaster, dishes, and ovens. There was just a small fridge with a mini freezer compartment where all the ice melted. The mattresses were very old, and we could sometimes feel the springs. The shower rod had come loose and broken. The owner brought a replacement only after 3 days, and we had to fit it ourselves. The shower water also wouldn’t drain and kept backing up. I could go on listing things that spoiled the holiday. Never again.

The apartment worked perfectly for two couples, with two bedrooms with large beds and two bathrooms. We also had a well-equipped kitchen and a big terrace with a barbecue. The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with wine. The sea is about 300/350 meters away, down 264 steps, and access is very close to the house. We leave tomorrow and hope we get our deposit back ;-))

The street is very narrow and the parking spots are tiny, but I’d still happily spend another holiday here. The apartments are very well maintained, the view is beautiful, and the landlords are super friendly.

There’s lots of garden space, and the apartments are large with balconies. The beach is close, though getting up the steep stairs with strollers is difficult.
