Bellistra Apartments Rabac

The apartment was very clean, with a lovely sea view, and the pool was nice too. It’s a good place to unwind not far from the beach. The owner was very friendly, and I’d certainly recommend it for a good holiday.

We spent a week in this quiet, well-kept complex and really enjoyed it. The building has just six apartments, so it stayed pleasantly peaceful, even around the pool. Our apartment was very clean and nicely furnished, and the sea view from the balcony was breathtaking. The whole place is finished to a very high standard. Thanks to our lovely hostess for making us feel so welcome.

PLEASE NOTE! The Booking.com listing wrongly says guests can use the pool during their apartment stay. The pool beside the building doesn’t belong to it and isn’t available to guests. After checking in and paying a €100 deposit, we were told we couldn’t use it, in July heat of 37 degrees Celsius. We were told on arrival that it belonged to the "Cuatro" apartment, but there was no information about that anywhere. The pool was constantly empty, and there’s no fence. Getting to the sea means a steep downhill walk of about 2km; making the uphill return with small children feels physically impossible unless you’re an athlete. This isn’t a place I’d recommend to families with children or people hoping to relax. It was a waste of time, stressful, and a waste of money. Contact with the owners was very limited, and they didn’t answer text messages or calls, so there was no way to get help lighting a barbecue.

We were disappointed to arrive expecting a refreshing swim and find the pool off-limits. The booking page has an error, since the pool isn’t included with the apartment. Still, the rooms were really nice and modern, and the view of the sea from the top-floor apartment was breathtaking.
