The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and for adults or a group of teenagers and adults, this is a clean, comfortable apartment in a good spot. The views are lovely, and it's about a 10-15 minute steep walk to the seafront. With small kids, though, I wouldn't choose it. There's nothing in the apartment to keep them busy, and outside isn't enclosed. There are lots of low walls with drops beyond them and stone staircases all around. Our place had three good showers but no bath. The “fully equipped kitchen” had adult crockery and glasses only, with no plastic cups or plates, no cereal bowls, and no oven. For very young children I'd book somewhere else. Rabac has great facilities. The tourist train runs from the seafront to local beaches, all a short drive away, and there are various parking options. Some beaches are also walkable for kids over 5 or 6. The town's people are nice. Check for public holidays on the day you arrive, since all the shops will be closed. The shop at the nearby holiday resort is normally open for a few hours on those days.
