Villa Kole

Villa Kole was such a relaxing place to stay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, and there's a nice new pool too.

Marco was a great host, friendly and quick to reply with suggestions for food and places to see. When the Wi-Fi stopped working, he brought over a new modem within two hours, with faster service and better range. The cottage is charming and well equipped, with comfortable beds, even the sofa bed, and a spacious fridge and freezer. There was plenty of kitchen gear, from a sandwich toaster to an immersion blender and smoothie maker, as well as an oven, microwave, and coffee machine. We'd booked the cottage from afar for our first holiday in Croatia, so it was a bit exciting to see if the photos were accurate. They were: the villa was tidy, with a pool, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The air conditioning worked well and cooled the bedrooms enough. We brought our usual extra fan and used it to push cool air into the bedroom. There's a bath and shower inside, plus an outdoor shower. Outside, we enjoyed the pool and sun loungers, and the veranda had a big table and a fireplace that's great for barbecues. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back. I found the villa exceptionally clean, and the host was very kind and always around with advice when needed. Set in a quiet village surrounded by nature, it's a lovely place to unwind and escape the stresses of city life.

The hosts were very kind, and everything was tidy and clean. It was a peaceful place to stay, which made our visit pleasant.
