The hosts made us feel genuinely welcome, greeting us with homemade cakes and syrup and sending us off with their own liqueur. The apartment was spotless, lovely, and fully equipped, set in a quiet, leafy spot. It’s a handy base for Plitvice Lakes, 11 km away, and Barać Cave is 9 km away. We also enjoyed the idea of exploring the area by bike or quad. Rastoke’s charming center is only 1-1.5 km away, with cozy restaurants, pubs, and street food. I’d recommend it to anyone after peace, nature, and warm hospitality near the lakes.

We were very comfortable here, and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The retired owners were especially kind: homemade cakes and syrup were waiting when we arrived, and the following evening they shared their own liqueur with us. The place is in a lovely, quiet setting right by the village of Rakovica, where you can find shops, pubs, street food, and restaurants. If I come back to Plitvice, I’d happily stay here again.

Everything we needed was in the room, which was very clean and had air conditioning. The hostess was lovely and easy to talk to, and she offered us some of her baked goods as soon as we arrived.

We stayed here for a visit to Plitvice, about a 15-minute drive away, and found the apartment beautiful and roomy, set back from the main road. The village has shops and restaurants, and we didn’t feel we were missing anything. In the morning our very pleasant hostess brought pancakes with delicious homemade raspberry jam. Thanks, we’d recommend it.

Plitvice Lakes was about a 15-minute drive away, which suited us since we were just passing through. Nearby restaurants are plentiful, and we especially recommend White Deer Ranch. The accommodation had great amenities, was very clean, and looked out over lovely nature. We were welcomed with homemade cake, then on our last day had tasty homemade pancakes and a jar of raspberry jam. We’d definitely come back. Thanks for everything. 9
