Breakfast was plentiful, and the hosts chatted warmly with us and suggested local attractions. They were welcoming throughout our stay. On our first night, they waited up late to hand over the keys and show us the room. It was tidy and comfortable, with air conditioning and all the amenities we needed. A very pleasant, comfortable experience.

The hosts were the best part, so welcoming and helpful, and they took care of everything we needed. The rooms were great and warm. Our family room had a large bed and a smaller one for our child, and breakfast was just right. A good place to stay if you’re visiting Plitvice lake, very close to the entrance. There’s also a supermarket, hotel, and petrol station nearby.

The pool was a nice bonus, especially for cooling off after a morning at Plitvice lakes. The owners were amazing and ready to help with anything. The rooms are a bit small and noisy, but the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. It’s a ten minute drive to the lakes, and I’d recommend staying here if you’re going.

There are several restaurants close by, and at a couple of them you can get something vegan by changing a few menu items, even if it’s only sides. The owner was great, happy to help with everything, and made us coffee each morning. He’ll drive you to and from Plitvice Lakes during your stay for only 100 kuna, and the lakes are just a 10 minute drive away. The hostel is very nice, with private bathrooms in the small rooms and private kitchens in the bigger ones. There’s air conditioning and even a pool too.
