We rented all three rooms for our family of five in early June, and loved the stay. The host family made us feel welcome and offered great suggestions. Every room was as nice as, or nicer than, the photos. One useful thing to know: the nearest grocery store doesn't take credit cards, so bring some local currency if you plan to shop there. We'd happily come back. Thank you!

We spent one night at Guesthouse Rubcic. It was a good base for Plitvicka Lakes, around 15 minutes by car from the entrance. The apartment is on the second floor under the roof. The room was very clean, the bathroom looked quite new, the air conditioning worked well, and there was basic kitchen equipment.

The host was incredibly helpful with tips on places to visit, where to go, and what to eat. We liked the apartment a lot: it was clean, and everything we needed was only a few minutes away.

The family gave us such a warm welcome and were really nice. The beds were very simple and modest.
