House Zupan

The host took us straight to the N.P., and we had an amazing time there. It’s a great location if you ask the bus driver to let you off at Rakovica, with a decent grill nearby. On arrival, we were offered tea, which was much appreciated. It’s a lovely little guest house, with a caring host, comfortable bed, good shower, and good facilities. A perfect stay.

The warm welcome from the host and his family was the best part of traveling for me. He invited us to join them for a B&Q, and we took a rain check at first. We eventually shared a few homemade beers, which you should definitely try, and watched a local game on TV together. Luckily, his team won. The rooms are spacious and super clean, parking is right in front of the house, and check-in and check-out were easy. The hosts were relaxed and trustworthy. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Terrific value for money. I super recommend this place, 12/10.

The hosts wore masks, disinfected the place, and left hand sanitizer available, which helped me feel safe. We also had good WiFi, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. Our room was lovely and very clean. The hostess greeted us at the door and pointed out where to find a supermarket, bar, and restaurant. Thank you! 😊

The terrace had a beautiful view, and the rooms were neat and nice. Breakfast was a treat, especially the eggs done sunny-side up on toast and a fresh doughnut. We had a really good stay. Thanks so much for hosting us, and I’d absolutely recommend it for a Plitvice visit. All the best!
