Good food and a great base for visiting Plitvice National Park. There wasn’t much within walking distance for the evening, though.

At 48 euros a night, it was definitely good value. We stayed from 20-22 June, when the swimming pool had reopened. The rooms were clean and well kept, and Entrance 1 of Plitvice National Park is just a 10 minute drive away.

The sweetest part was the cat wandering outside. We called her Scruffy, she was so sweet, give her some snacks! The hotel is nice for the price, and the restaurant is really good and affordable.

The waitresses were okay, but they seemed completely overwhelmed. We tried several times to order, and one waitress was so busy she couldn’t even look over to see whether anyone wanted something. They also didn’t notice that I would have ordered more drinks if they’d come earlier. It looked like they had to help out in the kitchen as well. I think the owner is too greedy to put enough staff on.

There’s a wide choice of outdoor activities, and all kinds of accommodation, from tent pitches to some really cool tree houses. When I visited, the place was still being developed, but it’s definitely going to become a very cool campsite. Stay here for a great holiday in Plitvice.
