The best part was how safe the horses felt. They stayed calm around everything and never shied away, so we could enjoy plenty of galloping. My 10-year-old daughter and I spent a week at Ranch Terra on our first riding holiday, with a different trail each day and the ranch dogs often coming along. The scenery was beautiful and varied, and Marin and his parents made us feel so welcome. Marin took lovely photos and videos that we'll keep as memories. Our room was clean, and we'd be very happy to return. See you soon.

Our guide Marin took us galloping through the countryside, and we were both grinning and laughing the whole way. The horses seemed to enjoy running as much as we enjoyed riding them, and we can't wait to come back. As a lifelong rider, I pay close attention to horse welfare, and Ranch Terra really impressed me. The family clearly puts their horses first: they were healthy, strong, well trained, properly fitted with tack, and showed no lameness. That level of care is unusual in horse tourism. Whether you're new to riding or experienced, this is one of the best things to do in Croatia.

We dropped by after visiting plitvice without a reservation, and Marin arranged a private ride for us later that evening. Everyone was so personable, and it was a lovely experience. I'd highly recommend it for people of any age.

The mountain views along the forest and country tracks were amazing. My partner and I spent two hours riding during our holiday, and the calm, beautiful horses made it a great outing. Marin was a friendly guide and took photos for us to remember the day. It's the best riding experience I've had in a long time, and I'd absolutely recommend the place.

Lisa and Luna were superb with us as relatively novice riders, and we felt safe the whole time. My daughter booked us a two-hour afternoon trek at Ranch Terra, and we both had a wonderful time seeing more of the Croatian countryside from horseback. Ema was great company as our guide. You can tell the horses are loved and looked after. We'd definitely recommend it for a change of scenery and a different kind of outing. 🐴 😊👍
