A quiet neighborhood, clean rooms, and a very nice hostess made this a pleasant place to stay. The lake is 13 minutes away. The hostess's sons speak fluent English. The room had air conditioning, a fridge, TV, electric kettle, cups and tea, plus a big terrace that extends the living space.

The bed was comfortable and the staff polite, though our room looked a little different from the pictures and didn't have a kitchen area. It's quite remote and poorly lit, so take care if you arrive at night. The address led us to the wrong spot, but a local happened to be around and pointed us the right way.

The owners were friendly and kept the air conditioning on for us, so the room felt cool when we got back. That matters in Croatia in summer. The room was nice, and we knew ahead of time that there was no option to eat here. The walls are thin, though, so hopefully your neighbors aren't loud snorers. Four stars if you're prepared for that.

Good value for an overnight stop, close to plitvice park with restaurants nearby. We had a nice conversation with the owners, and there were cute dogs to play with.

It's a little basic, but clean and comfortable, with helpful hosts. A perfect base if you're touring or hiking around the area.
