The place is small but great, and it was clean, including the rooms and shower. It’s close to the sea and the Stadium, and the kitchen is fully fitted. Finding it was tricky, though not impossible.

The house sits up on a mountain, but walking down to the rocky beach is easy. Our room was magnificent, with a balcony looking out to sea. From the bedroom windows you can see the blue water and a blossoming tree. There’s a huge fireplace in the living room that makes it feel atmospheric. The mattresses were comfortable, and the place was clean, with air conditioning and a dishwasher.

The landlady and her son were very nice, and there’s a small terrace with clotheslines and pegs. A drying rack is available if you ask. The terrace is really tiny, though, with just enough room for a table and four chairs. Apartment A works for a small group or a short stay, but it’s cramped for four adults and not suitable for a year-long holiday. The kitchen and living area are small, and it only feels comfortable when the air conditioning is off, which isn’t pleasant at 30°C. Being out a lot doesn’t really solve that. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, with some steep sections, and there’s a parking garage by the beach swimming pool. The kitchenware and dishes are adequate. There’s a gas stove and a large fridge behind loose cabinet doors, so you have to open two doors to get to either the fridge or freezer. The double bed is narrow, though there’s room for a wider one, and only one bedside table is there anyway. A lampshade would help in the twin room. Blinds in both rooms would be useful since it gets bright after 5 pm and they’d offer some sun protection. We were glad there was a washing machine in the bathroom, but several things need replacing: the half-broken shower shelf, the soap dish by the sink, the grimy bin, and the wobbly towel rack. A single large soap dish would be better. Two towel hooks for four people isn’t enough. The shower is cramped, with a high step in and a low frame at the top, so watch your head. The emails said three hours were spent cleaning 40 square meters. If so, the floors, surfaces, bathroom, and areas under the beds should have looked cleaner. I care about an honest description, whether it’s a restaurant or an apartment, and I hope this is taken as constructive criticism.

The house has several apartments in a quiet location. We were 13 people, so we rented both: the small apartment, with two double beds and a double sofa bed, and the large one, with two double beds, two singles, and a double sofa bed. The larger apartment was very nice, had a sea view, and came with everything we needed.
